The correct title is Boronia Oval. This is a sports-ground, rather than a rest area, though picnic tables are being installed. There is a sign showing a long list of activities prohibited. Dogs can be walked on a leash, but golfing, model-aeroplane flying, and fossicking for rocks are banned. The Oval is slightly difficult to find, unless you're a local, being off the main road and along some back streets. Beware of the deep DIP in the entry road.Facilities include two tennis courts, two soccer pitches, a cricket pitch, and two cricket practice nets. There is also a small children's playground. The formal car-park area is locked, and so are the toilets, when the ground is not in use. But there is still room to park around the outskirts.Beyond the north-eastern end of the sports ground there is access to the Bargo State Conservation Area, for bushwalkers.
